The 19-year-old from Kamloops, B.C. won both of his starts over the weekend, stopping 53 of the 54 shots he faced and finishing with a .981 save percentage, a 0.49 goals-against average and one shutout.

On Friday, Langenegger made 33 saves on 34 shots in the Silverbacks 2-1 overtime win over the Chilliwack Chiefs and was named first star. He was even better the following night, stopping 20 pucks and earning a shutout in his team’s 1-0 win over the Prince George Spruce Kings where he was again named the game’s first star.
