Clay Stevenson

Stevenson won all three of this starts last week, stopping 68 of the 70 shots he faced to finish with a .971 save percentage, a 0.68 goals-against average and one shutout.

On Tuesday, the Chilliwack, B.C. native stopped 28 of 29 shots in a 5-1 road victory over the Victoria Grizzlies. After getting the night off on Wednesday, he was back at it at home on Friday where he shutout the visiting West Kelowna Warriors 4-0, making 24 saves and earning first star in the process. He wrapped up his stellar week on Sunday afternoon, stopping 16 of 17 in a 4-1 win on the road against the Chilliwack Chiefs.

This is Stevenson’s first Player of the Week award after being named an honourable mention four times in 2019-20.

The 20-year-old Dartmouth College commit now has a 13-2-0 record, tying him for most wins in the BCHL. He also sits second in the league with a .945 save percentage and a 1.40 goals-against average with two shutouts.
