Kawaguchi scored six goals – becoming the Chiefs’ all-time goalscoring leader – and added three helpers in helping Chillliwack go 4-0 for the week. The Abbotsford, B.C. product had two goals and an assist in each of his first two games of the week, wins over Wenatchee and Cowichan Valley. He got the goal that made him the Chiefs goalscoring leader in a road win over Coquitlam and also had a tally in victory over Nanaimo to close the week.
