Some go months without scoring their first NHL goal after getting the call-up to the show. For Nanaimo Clippers grad Ray Sawada, it took about 16 minutes. The Richmond, B.C. native scored on Oilers netminder Dwayne Roloson in the first period of his first NHL game last week, less than 12 months after leaving Cornell University.
