Spruce Grove Saints forward Stephen Kirkpatrick has been named the BCHL’s Alberta Division Player of the Week, ending Feb. 4.
In the Saints lone game over the weekend, the Edmonton, Alta. product scored twice in his team’s 5-3 win against the Sherwood Park Crusaders.
With the game tied 1-1 in the second period, Kirkpatrick gave the Saints the lead, then he potted a shorthanded insurance marker midway through the third, a goal that turned out to be the game-winner.
