The Vees defeat the Vipers 4-2

Mathew Robson came up big, stopping 25 of 27 shots throughout the game. The Penticton Vees took the lead late in the second on a goal from Taylor Sanheim.

Nicholas Jones contributed with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist). Jimmy Lambert delivered for his team with 2 assists.

In the first period, Meek opened the scoring for Penticton with a goal at 10:48 with a helper from his defensive partner, Miller. Jones put in a goal at 17:28 with helpers from his teammates Klack and Bast.

In the second, Lansdell finally put the Vipers on the board with a goal at 11:34 with assists from Lambert and Kelly. Trott scored a goal at 13:55 with helpers from Jandric and Lambert. Sanheim answered for Penticton with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 18:48 with assists from his linemates, Jones and Ward.

During the third period, Nash put in a goal at 12:29 with helpers from Leahy and Ripplinger.

The Vees’ victory was in no doubt helped out by Robson’s big night as he stopped 25 of the 27 shots he faced. Robson’s counterpart, Hanson, also had a big night, managing to stop 26 of 30, but ultimately fell short.

This win brings the Penticton Vees’ record to (637-238-45-0).
