Junior defenceman and former Penticton Vees standout Devon Krogh of the Ohio State University Buckeyes was key in the team's success against the Alaska-Anchorage Seawolves.
Krogh had one assist on Friday, two assists on Saturday, was a +2 and part of a penalty killing unit that went 13-for-14 on the weekend as the Buckeyes took five of six points against Alaska.
In two full seasons in Penticton plus part of another, Krogh scored nine goals and 42 assists in 124 career games to go along with 114 penalty minutes.
