Matthew Greenfield made all 30 saves in his return to the crease for the West Kelowna Warriors, backstopping them to a 3-0 win over the host Estevan Bruins Saturday night.
After a scoreless first, it was Reed Gunville’s goal at 4:07 of the second that would stand up as the winner. Brett Mennear added insurance 1:03 later.
Mennear scored a second tally near the midway point of the third.
It’s a quick turnaround for the Warriors as they play the Alberta-champion Brooks Bandits Sunday at 1 p.m. Pacific time.
