Wesley to play at Windsor

A proven point producer over his BCHL career, Surrey Eagles forward John Wesley has parlayed that resume into an opportunity at the University of Windsor.

Wesley will play for the Lancers starting next season after posting 37 goals an 31 assists for 68 points in 56 games this past season. His 37 goals tied him for tops in the BCHL along with Wenatchee’s Jasper Weatherby and AJ Vanderbeck and earned him a spot on the BCHL’s 2nd Team all-stars.

A native of Surrey, Wesley played parts of three other BCHL seasons prior to this year, including one game as an affiliate with the Langley Rivermen. His career BCHL totals are 53-57-110 in 108 games.

At Windsor, Wesley will be joining a program that competes in USports’ OUA West Division along with Lakehead, Guelph, Western, Ryerson, York, Brock, Laurier, Toronto and Waterloo.

There will be a good amount of BCHL talent on the Lancers roster next season in Brett Mennear, Connor Logan, Chays Ruddy and Adam Burnett.
