The third-annual BCHL Road Show begins today in Quesnel, B.C.
The Cowichan Valley Capitals and Victoria Grizzlies have arrived in town for a weekend of community events and BCHL hockey.
The league has partnered with the Lhtako Dene Nation for the event and will also have Vancouver Canucks alumnus and 17-year NHL veteran Geoff Courtnall on hand for community initiatives.
The two previous Road Shows took place in Kitimat, B.C. in 2020 and in Burns Lake, B.C. last season.
Schedule
Friday, Nov. 24:
10:30am – noon: School visits to École Red Bluff Lhtako Elementary School and Quesnel Junior School
6pm: Traditional feast hosted by Lhtako Dene Nation
Saturday, Nov. 25:
1pm – 3pm: Community skate and autograph session with Geoff Courtnall and members of the Capitals and Grizzlies
7pm: Game 1 – Cowichan Valley Capitals vs. Victoria Grizzlies
Sunday, Nov. 26:
Noon: Game 2 – Victoria Grizzlies vs. Cowichan Valley Capitals
Tickets
Fans can buy tickets to both games here.
No tickets are required for the community skate and autograph session on Saturday.
