The 2023 BC Hockey League (BCHL) Showcase event in Seattle, Wa. begins this Sunday at 7 p.m. at the Kraken Community Iceplex.
The event features all 17 BCHL teams playing two regular-season games in one location in front of scouts and fans.
For many players, the Showcase is an opportunity to get in front of NCAA Division I coaches and NHL scouts for the first time, while for others, it is an opportunity to build on existing relationships with schools in order to achieve their goals of playing college hockey.
In the month following the 2022 Showcase, 27 BCHL players earned commitments to NCAA Division I programs, with many more getting their scholarships in the following weeks.
