The defending Atlantic Conference champion Air Force Academy Falcons have secured another BCHL name as Salmon Arm Silverbacks forward Trevor Adams has committed to them for the 2019-20 season.
Last year, in his rookie season in the BCHL, Adams scored 13 goals and added 13 assists for 26 points in 55 regular-season games. The Muskegon, Mich. native also chipped in with four points in four playoff games.
Former Vernon Viper Shane Kelly and former West Kelowna Warriors Tyler Jutting and Willie Reim are all committed to play their freshman seasons at Air Force this year, while Warriors forward Bennett Norlin is also committed to the Falcons for the 2019-20 season.
Air Force is located just north of Colorado Springs, Colo. They play out of the Atlantic Hockey Conference along with American International, Army West Point, Bentley, Canisius, Holy Cross, Mercyhurst, Niagara, Robert Morris, Rochester Institute of Technology and Sacred Heart.
The Falcons finished last season with a record of 13-11-4 and went on to win the Atlantic Hockey Championship with a roster that included former Penticton Vee Matt Serratore and former Alberni Valley Bulldog Billy Christopoulos as the lone BCHL alums. After winning their opening game of the NCAA National Tournament against St. Cloud State, they were knocked out by Minnesota Duluth in the second round.
