Anhorn commits to Union College for 2019-20

Prince George Spruce Kings defenceman Dylan Anhorn has committed to the Union College Dutchmen for the 2019-20 season.

Anhorn played all 58 regular-season games for Prince George in his rookie year, finishing third on the team in points from the blueline with 25. The 5-foot-10, 165-pounder from Calgary, Alta. also had a strong postseason, contributing 11 points in 24 games in the Spruce Kings run to the Fred Page Cup Finals.

Union College is located in Schenectady, N.Y. and plays in the ECAC Hockey conference along with Brown, Clarkson, Colgate, Cornell, Dartmouth, Harvard, Princeton, Quinnipiac, Rensselaer, St. Lawrence and Yale.

Last season, the Dutchmen finished ninth in their conference and lost to Princeton in the quarterfinals of the ECAC Hockey tournament.

The 2017-18 Union College roster featured former BCHL players Ryan Scarfo, Ryan Burton, Cole Maier, Brett Supinksi, Brendan Taylor and Darion Hanson.

Wenatchee Wild forward Sam Morton and West Kelowna Warriors defenceman Michael Ryan are committed to play for the Dutchmen next year.
