In the Island Division of the BCHL, teams spend a lot of hours traveling by ferry.
The Powell River Kings do more of this than anyone as they hop aboard a BC Ferries boat for every road game.
That's why it was especially nice to get a little something different from a certain BC Ferries employee, 2nd Officer Clive, who performed a special rendition of Stompin' Tom Connors' iconic number "The Hockey Song" as a sendoff to a recent trip to Nanaimo.
One passenger was able to record the performance and posted it on Youtube:
OFFICER CLIVE SINGS THE HOCKEY SONG
The Kings were already feeling good with a 2-0 series lead but now have a unique memory from what could have been just another road trip.
