BC Hydro presents Vancouver Canucks Open Practice

BC Hydro Power Smart, the official sponsor of the BCHL's Fred Page Cup, is pleased to invite fans to attend the Vancouver Canucks Open Practice on Saturday, October 3rd, at 2pm at Rogers Arena. Doors open at 1pm.

Fans will have the opportunity to watch their favourite Canucks players take to the ice in preparation for their Opening Night matchup October 9th versus the Los Angeles Kings. Those attending are encouraged to arrive early to participate in the pre-practice concourse activities and opportunities. The first 1000 fans in attendance will have the opportunity to receive autographs from Canucks alumni.

Additionally 17 NHL trophies from the Hockey Hall of Fame will be present including the Hart, Art Ross and Conn Smythe trophies.

We’re excited to return as the sponsor of this free, family event and engage with fans and customers during October’s Power Smart Month,” said BC Hydro’s Senior Manager, Community Investment, Outreach & Education, Larina Lopez. “BC Hydro Power Smart is happy to award 10 lucky kids a chance to meet Team Power Smart Leader, Ryan Kesler after the practice. We encourage everyone to visit the BC Hydro booth onsite for a chance to win.”

Each year, BC Hydro hosts Power Smart Month in October to educate customers on the benefits and ease of conservation. Ryan Kesler is among over 250,000 British Columbians that have joined Team Power Smart and made the commitment to reduce their electricity use by 10 per cent. Team Power Smart members save money and energy and are eligible for exclusive team offers and rewards.

There is no charge for admission to Open Practice however tickets are required for entry and can be reserved through Ticketmaster Charge-By-Phone at 604.280.4400 or online at www.ticketmaster.ca. Tickets will also be available at the Rogers Arena Box Office as of Monday, September 20th. A handling fee of $5.90 will be accompanied with each order. There is a limit of six tickets per household.
