The British Columbia Hockey League is pleased to announce a continued partnership with TEAM Radio that will see 12 Lower Mainland-based BCHL games broadcast on the TEAM 1040 during the upcoming 2010/11 season.
The BCHL on TEAM Radio broadcast team will include play-by-play voice Blake Price and colour commentator Jeff Patterson. Former BCHLer Dave Tomlinson, who was a part of the broadcasts last season, has joined the Vancouver Canucks' radio broadcast team on a full-time basis.
The broadcast schedule sees the Langley Chiefs featured 10 times, the Surrey Eagles 7 times, and the Coquitlam Express on six occasions. The Penticton Vees will also make a cameo on Team 1040 when they face the Chiefs at the Langley Events Centre on January 15th.
“TEAM Radio is once again thrilled to be the home of select BCHL Games this season,” says program director Rob Gray. “Our listeners across the Lower Mainland and around the Province have responded very enthusiastically to our past BCHL play-by-play coverage and we’re excited to get the new season underway and on the air.”
BCHL fans will also be able to tune in for twice-weekly updates with BCHL coaches and players with Barry MacDonald on Tuesdays and Fridays.
