Penticton wins the series 4-3

GAME NOTES:

  • The Vees scored two goals 13 seconds apart in the final 30 seconds of the third period to tie the game, then take the lead
  • Penticton defenceman Nolan Stevenson had two goals, including the game winner with 14 seconds to play
  • Zack Stringer and Simon Meier each had two-point nights for the Vees
  • Silverbacks captain Nathan Mackie scored two goals 1:09 apart in the third period
  • Eli Pulver made 45 saves in the loss

#1 Surrey Eagles – 3
#3 Alberni Valley Bulldogs – 2

GAME NOTES:

  • Liam Tanner’s go-ahead goal in the second period held up as the game-winner for Surrey
  • Eagles goaltender Ajeet Gundarah stopped 23 of 25 shots
  • Surrey forward Ryden Evers scored in his first game since April 3 after missing over a month due to injury
  • Callum Tung made 28 save for Alberni Valley
  • Nicholas Beneteau and Hayden Stavroff had the goals for the Bulldogs
