The 2024 NHL Draft prospect notched three goals and an assist in the Bandits first two games of the Alberta Division Final against the Sherwood Park Crusaders.

In last Friday’s Game 1, Brooks reeled off eight straight goals, starting in the second period, to win 8-1. Free had a goal and an assist as part of the onslaught. In Game 2 the following night, the Calgary, Alta. native scored two goals in his team’s 5-1 victory. He was named first star of the game.
