This week on the BCHL Podcast we catch up with a pair of alums who are both have big seasons in the NCAA.
First up is Jordan Kawaguchi, who is in his senior season at the University of North Dakota and is coming off a year where he was a finalist for the Hobey Baker Award as college hockey’s top player. The 23-year-old from Abbotsford, B.C. played four seasons with the Chilliwack Chiefs from 2013-2017, including 83 and 85-point campaigns his final two years in the league.
We also speak with Arizona State University freshman and Merritt Centennials alum Matthew Kopperud. Kopperud has exceeded all expectations in his first year in college hockey and currently leads the NCAA with 12 goals.
