Brossoit and Graboski named to Team Pacific for World U-17s

A pair of British Columbia Hockey League rookies have been named to Team Pacific's roster for the 2010 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge as announced by Hockey Canada on Wednesday.

Cowichan Valley Capitals netminder Laurent Brossoit has earned one of two spots in goal for Team Pacific. Brossoit has posted a record of two wins and four losses in eight games played with the Capitals, and recently earned his first BCHL shutout in a 3-0 victory over the Burnaby Express.

Quesnel Millionaires forward Spencer Graboski will also represent Team Pacific. Graboski has scored three goals and totalled eight points in 20 games with the Mills after playing four games with the club as an associate player last season.

Salmon Arm SilverBacks head coach Matt Hughes will be behind the bench for Team Pacific as an assistant to University of Lethbridge bench boss Michael Dyck.

The 2010 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge runs from December 29th to January 4th in Timmins, Ontario. For more inforamtion on the event, visit hockeycanada.ca.
