Alberni Valley Bulldogs forward Hunter Stewart has secured a college hockey future at Marian University for next season.
Marian is an NCAA Div. III college located in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. Other BCHL alums on the roster this past season included RJay Berra and Robbie Davies. Marian competes in the Northern Collegiate Hockey League conference.
Stewart had a productive three seasons in the BCHL, all with Alberni Valley. The 20-year-old Calgary product had 33 goals and 71 assists for 104 points in 118 career games over three seasons. This past year, he established new personal highs with 35 assists and 47 points.
The 6-foot-1, 190-pound forward registered 59 career penalty minutes.
