The Alberni Valley Bulldogs are pleased to announce that the team's annual Teddy Bear Toss will take place on Saturday, December 5th when the team faces off against the Powell River Kings at the Weyerhaeuser Arena.
On Saturday, Bulldogs fans are encouraged to bring teddy bears to the game. When the Bulldogs score their first goal, fans will have the opportunity to throw their bears onto the ice, knowing that they will be donated to local children's organizations.
All bears thrown onto the ice will be delivered by Bulldogs players to to kids at Fir Park, Echo Village, Kuu-us Crisis Services and the Salvation Army. Bears will be on sale at the game for $8.00 with all proceeds going to the Salvation Army.
