The Nanaimo Junior A Clippers Hockey Club (BCHL) are pleased to formally announce the signing of a long term Title Sponsorship Agreement with World Financial Group (WFG). With this announcement the Nanaimo Clippers will officially be known as the World Financial Group Nanaimo Clippers effective immediately.
Nanaimo Clippers Owner and Governor Mr. Ken Wagner was instrumental in negotiating the partnership with Senior Vice Chairman Mr. Carl Meldrum, a member of World Financial Group, who resides in Nanaimo, British Columbia.

The Nanaimo Junior A Clippers Hockey Club, founded in 1972, has been an institution in the British Columbia Hockey League for 36 years winning five Provincial Championships and being recognized across Canada as one of the premiere Junior A franchises in all of Junior Hockey.
Mr. Wagner expressed, “This is a precedent setting agreement and historic day in the future of the Nanaimo Clippers Hockey Club. We are honoured to share our vision, philosophy and commitment to our community with Carl and his World Financial Group team.
