Former Clippers star Gladiuk earns Atlantic Hockey POW for Bentley

Now in his junior year at Bentley University, Andrew Gladiuk has earned weekly conference awards before.

This time, it's the Atlantic Hockey player of the week nod after tallying three goals in two games for the Falcons in a weekend split with Sacred Heart University.

The White Rock, B.C. native scored the tying goal in an eventual 4-1 Falcons win Oct. 17. The next night, he scored twice on the man advantage in a 6-3 loss.

Gladiuk's power-play goals were the 21st and 22nd of his Bentley career, which establishes a new NCAA Div. I record for the program. The 6-foot-1, 190-pound forward now has four goals in three games to start the season.

In three full seasons with the Nanaimo Clippers, and two affiliate games with the Surrey Eagles, Gladiuk scored 72 goals and 102 assists for 174 points in 181 career games.
