The Prince George Spruce Kings hosted the Quesnel Millionaires Tuesday night and took a step closer to catching the Trail Smoke Eaters with a 4-2 win. The Mills host the Kings tonight and a win by the Kings would lift them into fifth place in the Interior and a first round play-off date with the Vernon Vipers.
Over 1300 fans were on hand to see the Kings skate to the win as Jeff Forsythe scored twice to lead the home side. Joe Morgan chipped in with a goal and one assist with the other marker going Laine Keyes. Kevin Genoe earned the win in goal making 24 saves.
