All three Canadian Junior `A’ Hockey League players who attended the Hockey Canada under-18 selection camp made the roster for the team that will play in the Junior World Cup in Slovakia.

Brock Bradford of the Coquitlam Express of the British Columbia Hockey League, Dan Bertram of the Camrose Kodiaks of the Alberta Junior Hockey League and Andrew Cogliano of the St. Michael’s Buzzers of the Ontario Provincial Junior Hockey League departed Aug. 7 for Slovakia.

Forwards Bradford, Bertram and Cogliano are among 22 players on the Hockey Canada team, which will be seeking its eighth gold medal in nine tries.

Bradford, 17, accumulated 38 goals, 58 assists and 96 points in 64 games overall in 2003-04. The 5-foot-8, 152-pound Burnaby, B. C., native tied for 14th in the BCHL with 85 points, including 49 assists, in 57 regular-season games.

Bertram, 17, totalled 25 goals, 39 assists and 64 points in 53 games overall. The 5-foot-10, 175-pound Calgary native had 22 goals and 55 points in 44 regular-season games.

Cogliano, 17, contributed 37 goals, 66 assists and 103 points in 61 games overall. The 5-foot-9, 177-pound Woodbridge, Ont., native was 12th in the OPJHL with 72 points, including 46 assists, in 37 regular-season games.
