Milan Lucic was the talk of the NHL last week, scoring his first career hat trick in a Bruins win over the Atlanta Thrashers and throwing a hit that sent Toronto defenceman Mike Van Ryn through the glass in Boston. Lucic makes his first ever appearance as an NHLer in his hometown this week when the Bruins visit Vancouver to face the Canucks. Through eight games, the former Coquitlam Express winger sits third in team scoring behind Marc Savard and Phil Kessel with seven points.
