Quesnel Millionaires forward Trevor Hertz has been named the British Columbia Hockey League's Player of the Week for the week ending November 16th, the league announced Monday.
Hertz led the Millionaires with four goals and three assists last week, vaulting himself into sixth place in BCHL scoring. Through 29 regular season games, Hertz has scored 21 goals and added 17 assists for 38 points.
The Jaffray, B.C. native began the week with two goals and an assist in a 3-1 win over the Prince George Spruce Kings and followed up that effort with a goal and two assists in a 3-2 victory over the Merritt Centennials.
In total, Hertz tallied a point on all seven Quesnel goals last week.
Last season, Hertz finished second on the Millionaires with 31 goals and 25 assists in his rookie season in the BC Hockey League.
The Mills are next in action on Saturday, November 22nd when they host the Salmon Arm Silverbacks at Quesnel Twin Arenas.
