Mylymok named Subway BCHL Player of the Week

Salmon Arm Silverbacks forward Luke Mylymok has been named the Subway BCHL Player of the Week for the week ending Feb. 2.

The Minnesota-Duluth commit had five points in two Silverbacks wins last week and was named first star in both contests.

On Friday, Mylymok had a goal and two assists in his team’s 6-2 home win over the Merritt Centennials in the first half of a home-and-home set. The next night in Merritt, the 18-year-old notched a pair of goals in Salmon Arm’s 5-3 win.

Since joining the team in mid-November, Mylymok has 10 goals and five assists in 20 games played.
