The 2016 NHL Entry Draft will be held June 24 and 25 at First Niagara Center in Buffalo, N.Y.
Penticton prospects Jost and Fabbro have been projected to be first-round picks for much of the season. If that were to happen, it would be the first time since 2004 that two first-rounders came from the same BCHL team. In 2004, it was Travis Zajac (20th overall to New Jersey) and Kris Chucko (24th overall to Calgary) who were both taken in the first round. The only other time two BCHLers were taken in the first round was in 2007 when Kyle Turris (third overall to then-Phoenix) and Riley Nash (21st overall to Edmonton).
