Goals from Cavin Tilsley and Lucas Cullen in the first period were all the offence the West Kelowna Warriors needed in a 5-1 road win over the Wenatchee Wild in Game 2 to even their series at a game apiece.
Tilsley’s goal came just 56 seconds in and Cullen’s at the 15:59 mark was the winner.
In the second, Chase Dubois scored twice to make it a four-goal Warriors lead heading to the third.
Blake Bargar got the Wild on the board in the final frame but it was the only puck to beat Connor Hopkins as the Warriors’ netminder made 32 saves for the win.
Cullen added his second of the night at 14:29 of the third to round out the scoring.
Game 3 of the series is set for Tuesday at 7 p.m. in West Kelowna
