The British Columbia Hockey League's Salmon Arm SilverBacks are pleased to announce the hiring of Dave Erickson as Assistant Coach .
Dave has been coaching in Findlay, Ohio since 2004 following a four-year career as a member of the NCAA Division I University of Findlay Men’s Hockey Team. In his most recent role, Dave led the Findlay Grrrowl of the United Junior Hockey League to a League Championship and was named Coach of the Year.
Prior to embarking on his College Career, Dave starred as a defenceman for the Olds Grizzlies of the Alberta Junior Hockey League, earning First Team All-Star selections in 2000 and 2001 as well as the League’s Outstanding Defenceman honours in 2001.
Dave, a Kamloops native, will be joined by his wife Lisa Wolfe, step sons Errol and AJ, and daughter Sadie in Salmon Arm.
