Nanaimo Clippers goaltender Eliot Séguin-Lescarbeau, Clippers forward Patrick Fortune and Cranbrook Bucks forward Adam Csabi have been named the NAPA Auto Parts 3 Stars of the Week.

1st Star – Eliot Séguin-Lescarbeau (G) – Nanaimo Clippers

Séguin-Lescarbeau went 2-0 last week, stopping 57 of 59 shots for a .966 save percentage, a 1.00 goals-against average and one shutout.

On Tuesday, in Game 3 of the Coastal Conference Final against the Prince George Spruce Kings, the 20-year-old netminder stopped all 26 shots he faced to earn his second shutout of the postseason in a 4-0 Clippers win. He was named first star of the game. In Game 4 the following night, the Spruce Kings registered their highest shot total of the series with 33, but Séguin-Lescarbeau stopped 31 of them in a 6-2 victory that sent Nanaimo to the league championship series for the first time since 2022.

The St-Jérôme, Que. product is now tied for the playoff lead with two shutouts, while his 2.33 goals-against average ranks fourth and his .918 save percentage sits fifth.

2nd Star – Patrick Fortune (F) – Nanaimo Clippers

Fortune had two goals, two assists and four points in Nanaimo’s two wins over Prince George last week in the Coastal Conference Final.

After picking up an assist in Game 3 on Tuesday night, the 2006-born forward had three points in the series clinching fourth game with two goals and a helper. With the Clippers up 2-1 in the second period, Fortune scored early in the frame to extend Nanaimo’s lead to two goals. After Prince George cut the lead back down to one, he added a goal and an assist in the third to help his team to the win.

Fortune now has five goals, seven assists and 12 points in 16 postseason contests, tied for fifth in team scoring.

3rd Star – Adam Csabi (F) – Cranbrook Bucks

Csabi posted three goals and an assist for four points in a trio of games last week in Cranbrook’s Interior Conference Final matchup against the Brooks Bandits.

In Tuesday’s Game 3 at home, the Czech forward scored twice, including one on the power play, in the Bucks 4-1 win. In Game 4 on Wednesday, Csabi scored his 11th of the postseason with under seven minutes to play in regulation to force overtime in an eventual 4-3 loss. He closed things out with an assist on Cranbrook’s lone goal in Friday’s Game 5 elimination loss.

The 21-year-old finishes his postseason as the second leading goal scorer, while his 15 points in 17 games are tied for seventh.
