Sherwood Park Crusaders forward Ryan Zaremba has been named the Alberta Division Player of the Week.

The 18-year-old from Balgonie, Sask. had four points in his only game last week, including his first hat trick in the BCHL.

Zaremba opened the scoring for Sherwood Park 1:04 into their Friday night contest against the Okotoks Oilers, then scored his second of the game on an early second-period power play. He completed the hat trick in the third and added a helper on the game-winning goal just over a minute later to finish with four points. He was named first star of the game.

The University of Minnesota-Duluth commit has 19 points in 18 BCHL games this year, good enough for third on the Crusaders and tied for eighth overall in the Alberta Division.
