The Trail Smoke Eaters Junior A Hockey Club is pleased to announce they will be hosting a 4 team exhibition tournament at the Cominco Arena in Trail, BC during the weekend of September 1st,2nd,and 3rd 2011.
Joining the Smoke Eaters and Powell Rivers Kings from the BCHL will be the Brooks Bandits as the lone representative from the AJHL and the Wenatchee Wild of the NAHL. The teams will participate in a round robin format tournament, providing the opportunity to face each team during the weekend.
Several NCAA scouts have also confirmed their attendance at this tournament, including Trail as a stop on their pre-season recruitment campaigns.
