Spruce Kings engineer late come back for home win over Express

After allowing three goals to fall behind by two in the second, the Prince George Spruce Kings scored four unanswered in the third to pull out a 7-5 win over the visiting Coquitlam Express.

Cole Todd put PG up 2-1 early in the second but Brendan Lamont, in his 200th BCHL game, scored twice and Corey Mackin made it a two-goal Express edge heading to the third.

Braiden Epp scored twice in the final frame including the winner on the power play. Jake LeBrun also scored in the third and Raymond Grewal added an empty-netter to seal the deal.

Kienan Scott converted a penalty shot which would be the winning goal in a Trail Smoke Eaters 3-1 win over the visiting West Kelowna Warriors. Jake Lucchini opened the scoring for Trail but Brayden Gelsinger replied late in the middle frame. Scott's goal won it and Dallas Calvin added an empty-net goal. Adam Todd made 35 saves for the win.

Jack Ramsey scored twice and Brendan Barry made 26 saves as the Penticton Vees scored a 6-0 road win over the Langley Rivermen. Miles Gendron's goal early in the first would be the winner and Ramsey got his first with one second left in the opening frame. Connor Chartier added on the second, Ramsey got his second on the power play in the third.

Despite falling behind by two in the first, the Nanaimo Clippers clawed back in the second to tie it and won 3-2 in double OT on Sheldon Rempal's winner. Jay Mackie and PJ Conlon had the Grizz goals in the first but Jacob Hanlon and Cole Maier replied in the second.

Aidan Pelino stopped 32 shots and four different players scored as the Chilliwack Chiefs downed the host Surrey Eagles 4-1. Jake Hand's goal midway through the second was the winner shortly after Latrell Charelson had tied the game 1-1. Kohen Olischefski and Jake Larson added on in the third for Chilliwack.

Jarid Lukosevicius, Kurt Keats and JJ Coleshaw had three points each for the Powell River Kings in a 6-1 home win over the Cowichan Valley Capitals. Keats made it 3-0 before Rylan Bechtel got the lone Caps goal. Lukosevicius got his second of the night in the third. Stefan Worning made 27 saves for the win and 1st Star.

The Vernon Vipers scored four times in the final six minutes to come back and grab a 7-5 road win over the Salmon Arm Silverbacks. Taro Hirose and Ross Heidt scored in quick succession early in the third to put the 'Backs up 5-3 but Mitch Meek scored twice to tie it, Jagger Willamson got the winner and TJ Dumonceaux potted the final tally into an empty net.
