Timberwolves win back-to-back games with seven-goal outing over Quesnel

The Williams Lake Timberwolves picked up back-to-back wins for the first time since they rejoined the league in September and scored a season-high in goals in the process, topping the Quesnel Millionaires by a 7-3 margin.

The Timberwolves spread around the scoring on Saturday, with seven different players picking up goals. Justin Bardarson put his team on the board just 11 seconds into the game, and Williams Lake broke the game open with three goals in the second period and a pair early in the third.

Bardarson, Anthony DeLong, Justin Hogan, Danny Merth, Trent Murdoch,Brendan Nadolny and Kyle Beaulieu each scored in the game, while seven players who picked up two-points on the night.

Trever Hertz replied with a pair for the Millionaires, with Darick Ste-Marie scoring the team's other goal.

Sean Donnelly stopped 34 shots in the win for Williams Lake, who put seven past Quesnel starter Luke Siemens on a total of 46 shots.

The Millionaires complete their weekend on Sunday when they host the Trail Smoke Eaters, while Williams Lake is idle until a rematch with the Mills in Quesnel on Friday.
