Crozier secures Ivy League future

Though the season is still relatively new, it’s already been full of highlights for Tristan Crozier and he can add another to the list as he’s committed to an NCAA Div. I program for next season.

Already having welcomed his younger brother Max to the Nanaimo Clippers this season, scoring an overtime winner at the Bauer BCHL Showcase and seeing his brother’s name listed on the NHL Central Scouting player rankings, Tristan can add a commitment for himself to Brown University for next season to the list of headlines.

The elder Crozier has amassed eight goals and 10 assists, leading the team in points through 15 games played. The North Vancouver product looks ready to easily surpass his totals from last season when he had 10-19-29 in 53 games for Nanaimo.

At Brown, which is located in Providence, Rhode Island, Crozier will be joining a Bears program that competes in the NCAA’s ECAC Hockey conference along with Harvard, Quinnipiac, Yale, St. Lawrence, Clarkson, Cornell, Colgate, Princeton, RPI, Dartmouth and Union.

Brown has recruited from Nanaimo successfully in recent season with Clippers alums Ben Taylor, Nolan Aibel and Josh McArdle on the current roster. Other BCHL alums on the team this season are Conner Wynne, Colin Burston and Zach Giuttari.
