The 2025-26 National Hockey League (NHL) season begins tonight and there are 19 former BCHL players on opening night rosters across the league.

- 15 of 32 NHL teams have at least one BCHL alumnus on their roster
- The Colorado Avalanche, Columbus Blue Jackets, Nashville Predators and Utah Mammoth each have two league alumni on their rosters
- The Chilliwack Chiefs and Victoria Grizzlies are tied with the most alumni in the NHL among current BCHL teams with three
- Jamie Benn (Dallas) and Matthew Wood (Nashville) will start the season on injured reserve
