BCHL grad Bradford named MVP at BC

Boston College senior forward and Coquitlam Express grad Brock Bradford was named the Eagles' Most Valuable Player for the 2008/09 season, the team has announced.

Bradford led the way offensively for the Eagles last season, scoring 25 goals and adding 17 assists in 37 games; his margin over the team's next highest scorer was 14 points. The 22-year old's 42 points tied for 23rd in NCAA Division I scoring.

As team MVP, Bradford earned the Norman F. Dailey Memorial Award as the team's most valuable player. Dailey was a goaltender on BC's 1949 national championship team.

The Express grad was a seventh round draft pick of the Boston Bruins in the 2005 National Hockey League Entry Draft.
