Caps Win in OT for 3rd Time

The Cowichan Valley Capitals got a big goal from Bryce Reddick as he went top shelf in the second overtime period, giving the Capitals their third overtime victory in 4 games.  The Capitals are now 4-0 to start the season and sit in a tie with the Nanaimo Clippers atop the Coastal Conference.

The Capitals opened the scoring in the first period with back to back power-play goals from Mickey Spencer and Brooks Robinson.  Pierre Girard drew the Grizzlies to within one with his unassisted marker in the second period and Gary Nunn sent the game to overtime with his goal just under 7:00 minutes remaining in regulation time.

After a scoreless first overtime period, Bryce Reddick picked up a turnover just outside the Victoria blueline and went high on the short side past netminder Andrew Wong to give the Caps the win.
