There were just a pair of games in the BCHL's Coastal Conference as the Cowichan Valley Capitals and Burnaby Express hosted the Williams Lake Timberwolves and Quesnel Millionaires respectively.
In Cowichan Valley, the Captials cruised to a 5-0 win over the visiting Timberwolves. Alexandre Peck enjoyed a great night stopping all 36 shots in the Capitals goal to record the shut-out. Rajan Sidhu picked up three assists on the evening to lead the Capitals while Nick Anderson and Mike Hammond each scored once and added an assist. The Timberwolves are in the Alberni Valley Saturday to take on the Bulldogs.
At the Bill Copeland Arena in Burnaby, the Express skated to a 5-2 win over the Quesnel Millionaires. The Express were led by James Bettauer as he scored once and added three assists in an impressive 4 point night. Rich Manley and Colby Kulhanek both were good for a goal and two assists. Nick Enegren recorded the win in goal stopping an impressive 44 shots for the Express. The Millionaires are in Langley Saturday night to face the Chiefs at the Langley Events Centre.
