For the month, Victoria Grizzlies product and Holy Cross Crusaders goalie Mtt Ginn posted a 1.51 goals against average and a .923 save percentage with a 3-1-0 record.
Ginn recorded a .960 save percentage and a 1.00 goals against average as he made 24 saves in the 3-1 win versus Army on Dec. 10. Ginn was named the Team Travel USA Atlantic Hockey Goalie of the Week for his performance in wins versus Canisius on Dec. 2-3. He went 2-0-0 on the week with a 1.00 goals against average and a .938 save percentage.
The Lindsay, Ont. native made 30 saves and allowed two goals in the two wins over Canisius. This was the first time in his career that he has earned this honor. In the 3-2 victory on Dec. 2, Ginn posted 16 saves and recorded his first collegiate assist. Then on Dec. 3, he notched his first collegiate shutout as he made 14 saves in the 4-0 win.
This season, he has a 6-6-0 record with 294 saves.
Ginn played last season with Victoria posting a 29-21 record with a 2.86 goals-against average and a .915 save percentage. He led all BCHL goalies with 1,543 saves.
