A second BCHL player has committed to play for the Westfield State Owls in the 2011-12 season and the deal will see him reunited with a former teammate.
Forward Bryce Twa will join former Grizzlie defenceman Todd Gebert with the Owls. Gebert secured his deal in May after playing last season with the Nanaimo Clippers.
The pair played together for part of the 2009-10 season when Gebert played in the B.C. capital.
Twa, a 6-foot, 180-pound Victoria native, has played 96 regular season BCHL games the last two years and has potted seven goals and 10 assists in that time.
With the Owls, who are an NCAA Division III program located in Westfield, Mass., Twa will join a team trying to advance past their Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) semifinal showing from last season.
