The British Columbia Hockey League is pleased to allow fans to catch up on league coverage they missed during the season as an audio cache has been created which includes several interviews and clips done by league broadcast partner TEAM 1040.
Every Tuesday through the regular season, TEAM 1040 host Barry Macdonald catches up with a BCHL player, coach or graduate and you can now listen to a number of those interviews by going to the SCOREBOARD tab and clicking the “BCHL on TEAM 1040” link.
Whether it's Salmon Arm SilverBack alum and Toronto Maple Leafs draft pick Ben Winnett talking about taking phone calls from Brian Burke or Vernon Vipers grad Chay Genoway recalling what it was like playing with Jonathan Toews at the University of North Dakota, you can hear all about it via this new feature on our website.
“I'm pleased to be able to offer this to our fans who might be looking for more coverage of our league,” said BCHL communications director Brent Mutis. “And for fans who can't tune in during the week when the interviews are happening, they can visit this page to ensure they don't miss out.”
There is also a listing of Player of the Week reports recorded throughout the season by TEAM 1040 on the page to listen to.
