Sherwood Park Crusaders forward Jeremy Loranger, Cranbrook Bucks forward Rasmus Svartström and West Kelowna Warriors forward Jackson Kyrkostas have been named the FortisBC 3 Stars of the Month.

1st Star – Jeremy Loranger (F) – Sherwood Park Crusaders

The BCHL’s leading scorer kept up his pace in the final month of the season, piling up the most points with 19 in eight games on six goals and 13 assists.

Loranger had a point in every game in March and, going back even further, finished the regular season on an 11-game streak. The University of Nebraska-Omaha commit had multiple points in seven of eight contests, including a two-goal, two-assist performance on March 22 in a 7-3 win over the Vernon Vipers.

The 2025 NHL Draft prospect ended his season with a league-best 105 points in 54 games. His 65 assists tied for the BCHL lead, while his 40 goals were second in the league.

2nd Star – Rasmus Svartström (F) – Cranbrook Bucks

Svartström was the league leader in goals in the month of March with 10 in 10 games, adding eight assists to finish with 18 points.

The Finnish forward had a point in every game during the month, closing out his season with points in 17 straight contests. On the final day of the season, Svartström registered a hat trick for the third time this season in an 8-5 win over the Vernon Vipers. He also notched another multi-goal outing on March 7 when he scored twice in a loss to the Salmon Arm Silverbacks.

Svartström finishes the season as the BCHL’s leading goal scorer with 46 on the campaign, six more than the next player on the list. His 69 points were the fifth most in the league.

3rd Star – Jackson Kyrkostas (F) – West Kelowna Warriors

Kyrkostas tallied five goals, 10 assists and 15 points in eight games during the month.

The 20-year-old forward had a point in all but one contest in March, highlighted by a two-game stretch where he notched nine points. On March 21, Kyrkostas registered a career-best five points when he scored a goal and chipped in four assists in the Warriors 5-2 win over the Okotoks Oilers. A night later, he had a goal and three helpers in a 7-2 victory over the Blackfalds Bulldogs.

Kyrkostas finished the regular season as the Warriors leading scorer with 57 points in 54 games, which put him in the top-20 in overall league scoring.
