The Jan. 10 roster deadline for Junior hockey is on Sunday. As always, here are a few things for fans and media to remember:
- The deadline means teams must be down to a maximum of 22 carded players
- After Jan. 10, no transactions can be made until June 1, 2016 at 9 a.m. Pacific
- All CJHL transactions (inter-branch transactions) must be filed with league offices by 6 p.m. Pacific
- All BCHL transactions must be filed with the BCHL office by 8 p.m. Pacific
- Teams may only release information to media and fans about a roster move once all players involved in the transaction have been notified
- Teams are subject to fines if found releasing transaction information to fans and/or media prior the club notifying all players involved in the transaction
