The Prince George Spruce Kings would like to congratulate Jim Rosevear of Merritt, British Columbia as the latest winner in the 28th Annual Spruce Kings Show Home Lottery.
Jim was the winner of the four-pack of adult season tickets for the Spruce Kings 2010/11 BCHL season when ticket number 1813 was drawn on Sunday night out of the Show Home Lottery draw barrel at the house in the Aberdeen Glen Subdivision.
The ticket was purchased from within the Province of British Columbia using the Show Home Lottery twenty-four hour toll free phone line and was among the 6,437 tickets in the draw barrel for the sixth of ten early bird draws.
Four more early bird draws remain prior to the grand prize draw on February 14, 2010 for the $376,000 custom built Show Home located at 2638 Links Drive. Jim Rosevear was surprised to receive a phone call congratulating him on his win and explained that he has been buying tickets in the Show Home Lottery for fifteen years going back to when he lived in Prince George. After moving to Merritt a few years ago, he continued his tradition and plans on selling the season tickets to some of his old friends that still live in Prince George.
“He was happy to have won something,” said Spruce Kings Show Home Lottery manager, Jim Young. “He is also crossing his fingers that his luck will continue with the remaining early bird draws since his ticket goes back into the draw barrel. The biggest prizes are still to come and there are some fantastic prizes that are going to make somebody very happy.”
The next early bird prize draw will be on Sunday January 17, 2010 for a $3,200 Rona Gift Card. On January 24th the Early Bird draw will be for a Las Vegas Get-Away valued at $2,723. A Mexican Riveria Cruise for two valued at $4,696 will be drawn on January 31st and the final Early Bird prize is a Disney Family Vacation valued at $5,793 to be drawn on February 7th.
