Warriors’ Bailey commits to SAIT for 2010/11

The British Columbia Hockey League's Westside Warriors are pleased to announce that graduating forward Trevor Bailey has committed to attend the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology and suit up for the Alberta Colleges Athletics Conference for the 2010/11 season.

Bailey recently completed his fourth season in Westside and served as a team co-captain during the 2009/10 campaign. The 21-year old racked up 235 points in 232 regular season games with the Warriors, including a career-high 41 goals and 85 points last season.

“We are excited about Trevor being part of our team,” says SAIT head coach Ken Babey. “Trevor is fast, skilled and physical player that complements our style of play. He will have a positive impact on the team next season.”

The SAIT Trojans are the four-time defending ACAC champions and boast a number of Westside grads, including Garret Watson, Brad Plumton and Brady Mason. Joel Woznikoski, who served as Warriors co-captain alongside Bailey, has also committed to the school.
