Wenatchee’s Ean Somoza added to Top Prospects Game roster

Wenatchee Wild forward Ean Somoza has been added to the Team East roster for the BCHL Top Prospects Game on Friday.

Somoza will replace Prince George Spruce Kings forward Luca Primerano who is unable to participate due to injury.

Somoza, a 2003-born forward committed to Western Michigan University, enters the All-Star break as the BCHL’s fourth-leading scorer with 46 points in 37 games. His 35 assists on the year rank third in the league.

The Simi Valley, Calif. product will join Wild teammates David Hejduk and Lukas McCloskey on Team East, while Wenatchee captain Cade Littler will take part in the outdoor All-Star activities on Saturday.

The Top Prospects Game takes place on Friday, Jan. 20 at 6 p.m. at the South Okanagan Events Centre in Penticton.
